Hello there! I hope you are all doing well. I'm finally feeling better and back to writing. My newest novel is coming along better than I had thought. It's my second YA, the first I sat on a back burner for the time being, something just isn't right and I have yet to figure out where the problem is. Walking away from a project instead of driving myself nuts over it was the wiser choice.
The weather in Ohio is nasty, rain, and more rain on top of a seriously gloomy day. Makes for good writing as it sent the mood for a darker scene I needed to get finished. I'm really looking forward to allowing my MC to escape into her new found reality, my teenage daughter tells me this would be a book she and her friends would definitely read so that's a great boost for me.
This coming week is going to be extremely busy, not only do I plan to finish my current story, I also have an entire adult novel to revamp. I knew there were a few things that just didn't click and now with the help of a trusted friend I realize the beginning lacks the wow factor. Rewriting it couldn't be as hard as starting from scratch....can it??
