Well after 8 long months I have finally finished my very first book. For anyone who has stood in these shoes, you know how accomplished you feel when you type those final words on the page. I found myself sitting back looking at the computer screen in total disbelief which slowly turned to orgasmic joy....okay maybe not orgasmic but you get the idea.
Who would have thought that this small town gal would one day write a book that has so many people excited? Certainly not me, but this just goes to show that you can do anything you truly want to do if you have faith in yourself and work hard. Now comes the true test...I have 3 very capable people willing to read my manuscript from different prospectives, the first is from an editorial view as this person has a degree in English, another is from the readers prospective...this person is an avid fan of paranormal romance, and then last but not least from a friends point of view. They have all been told to be honest...brutally honest, not sugar coating it. We shall see in a week or so how this goes.
