Hello again, today is just one of those days. I don't have much to blog about so I thought I would ask you a question....How are you? I hope you are not up to your bum in snow as I am here. Don't get me wrong I enjoy and appreciate the beauty of Mother Nature, but when there's a foot and a half of snow everywhere you look it gets a little monotonous.
Have you ever had one of those days where it seems nothing you do goes right? I had the exact day on Monday. I honestly began to feel like a butterfly trapped inside a jar, and there on the outside was a child flicking the glass. I fluttered my wings, but it was of no use I could not escape the hell I found myself in.
Today however is a much better day, even with the snow and no sunshine I feel like writing. My second novel is beginning to take shape, now if only I could get the characters to stop screaming at me.....they are not patient, very much demanding of me, wanting to make sure I get everything just right. I love each of these make believe people that I have become so familiar with, it's strange how you can get to know someone who only existence is in your mind and on paper.
Sorry for the blah-ness of this post, but as I said earlier there just isn't much to talk about today. Stay safe & warm!
Write on wayward authors,
Jane
I especially felt that way this week, and last, and the week before, actually. Totally blah, nothing went right, everything wrong, and I feel like I'm just now coming out of that funk. Hopefully it will get better!
ReplyDeleteAnd in Oklahoma, we just got finished with the snow, but it's so unpredictable these days, the weathermen keep warning us it could return. Hopefully not as badly as before. And good luck on your second novel! :)
